Supporting Families

JAMES is a VCS partner delivering Early Help support to families across the Bradford district. The partnership is led by Barnardo’s and includes YMCA and Brathay. We have a team of experienced keyworkers team of keyworkers that can support families with a range of issues:

· School attendance and barriers to accessing education

· Ensuring children are free from harm and the risk of exploitation

· Parenting support

· Anti-social Behaviour and offending behaviour

· Job search and employability

· Improving mental and physical health

· Reducing harm from substance misuse

JAMES work with a range of partner organisations to ensure that families receive holistic support, and outcomes for the children we support are improved.

Family Aide Keyworkers

As part of this VCS partnership JAMES is also one of the commissioned partners to deliver support to families who have a lead practitioner through. We have two keyworkers at JAMES who will go into the home offering practical support to families such as boundaries and routines, filling out referral forms, budget planning, supporting children to attend school, etc. For any of our Early Help services please contact Angela Stack– angela.stack@jamesuk.org
