Time Apart, Time Together

We would like to introduce our new programme “Time Apart, Time Together” which will be delivered by JAMES and funded by Core 20 Plus 5. The programme aims to work with young people, ages 8-18, and their parents/carers, to address and support around difficulties with emotional wellbeing, mental health and resilience.
8 x 6 week cycles will run across the 4 areas of Keighley – West, East, Central and Worth Valley between January – August 2024.  Each session will be mirrored with parents and young people covering the same subject but in different groups although they will have opportunity to come together during each session to work together as a family unit and enjoy some quality time together.  Families will also be invited to attend a fun, interactive activity for the last session of each cycle.  Topics covered will include:
  • Managing stress
  • Building resilience
  • Self care
  • Loneliness
  • Asking for help
  • Giving and receiving support
  • Low mood busters
  • Dealing with change
  • Emotions
  • Relationships
